The Corporate Sector Authority, commonly abbreviated to CSA, is one of the playable factions in Thrawn's Revenge. Based out of the Corporate Sector in the Galactic Northeast in the Outer Rim Territories, the CSA was made up of multiple corporations controlling all economic, political, and judicial systems within the Corporate Sector. The Corporate Sector was never officially a part of the Galactic Empire, though was subordinate to them as a client state of the Empire and maintained diplomatic relations with them. After Palpatine's death at Endor in 4 ABY, the Corporate Sector became more independent and neutral in the Galactic Civil War, though they were briefly annexed by Zsinj's Empire from 7 ABY to 8 ABY, before becoming independent once more following his defeat.

Ship Market[]

Every galactic cycle, new ships may appear on the CSA's ship market. These are ships not typically available to the faction. You can see all ships currently available and the amounts they're available in listed on the Government Overview menu. They can be constructed at the CSA's Ship Market structure. Planets can only have either a Shipyard or a Ship Market, but not both.

Ship Icon: Ship Name: Unit Description: % Chance to Gain Per Cycle
Mandator-II Star Dreadnought Second design in the venerable humpbacked Mandator-series. The Mandator-II is an overhaul of the Mandator-I frame developed in wartime, with none of the restrictions applied to pre-war vessels. A significant increase in power makes it a premier early member of the full-fledged SSD family. 0.1%
Tagge Battlecruiser Battlecruisers commissioned by Tagge Company to defend their holdings from other corporations in a dangerous galaxy. While they are property of the House of Tagge, they were often offered to assist the Galactic Empire on missions the House saw achieving mutually beneficial results. As an early demonstration ship, they are notably outdated compared to Imperial-era vessels. 0.3% (Ulric Tagge adds additional 0.3%)
Bulwark-II Battlecruiser One of several upscaled battlecruiser designs used by the CIS, and the only one to see mass production for use in the Clone Wars. The Bulwark-II is an imposing heavy warship and one of the most powerful in its time, featuring incredibly dense armor and shielding matched with long-range batteries perfectly fit to shred enemy capitals. The design would see further refinement in the Galactic Civil War, leading to the Mark III. 0.3%
Imperial-I Star Destroyer Iconic large and dangerous multirole capital vessel. It is durable, well-armed with a variety of weapons, speedy for its size, and capable of carrying a respectable amount of fighters. Receives a good benefit from supporting carriers and escorts and functions well in almost any fleet composition. 1%
MC80b Star Cruiser A sturdy Mon Calamari star cruiser designed for the fledgling New Republic naval forces. Intended as an interim before other destroyer classes were ready for construction, it is still a marked improvement over the assorted MC80 and MC80a classes that preceded it. Its marked improvement in durability allows it to hold up under fire and allow bombers and frigates to engage occupied targets. 1%
Aggressor Star Destroyer The Aggressor-class was an experimental class of Star Destroyer developed by Kuat Drive Yards around the Battle of Yavin. Built around the main fire-linked ion and turbolaser cannons the Aggressor is the perfect ship for dealing with capital ships at long range. 0.5%
Interdictor Star Destroyer A heavier interdictor design intended to survive in battle conditions that an Immobilizer 418 cannot. Initial ships were merely modified ISD's with hamstrung combat abilities. The design has since been refined with unique hull components, but it is not as armed as a proper combat vessel in its size range. 1%
Keldabe Battleship The Keldabe-class, named for Mandalore's capital city, is another product of Mandal Hypernautics. It is a heavy capital ship, competing with Imperial Star Destroyers. 1%
MC80 Liberty Cruiser An Alliance-era Mon Calamari starship retrofitted for action as a moderately armed ship of the line. The Liberty-type was originally designed for civilian use or to be converted into warships despite being built to civilian specifications. It is well protected due to Mon Calamari shield technologies and a large amount of redundant emitters, but it is lacking in firepower compared to similarly sized vessels. It is best used as a cheap or low-priority line cruiser until other options are available. 2.5%
Venator Star Destroyer An iconic carrier-destroyer hybrid. The Republic-designed Star Destroyer was introduced early in the Clone Wars with a large hangar and notable dual-bridge towers. It relies heavily on its fighter complement and is intended to be supported by other vessels such as its counterpart, the Victory-I. It is decently well rounded in spite of its focus on fighter tactics but best not used against larger ships. 2.5%
Providence Carrier/Destroyer A durable carrier/destroyer hybrid with Mon Calamari design roots and a significant torpedo battery. Older models were pure destroyers before General Grievous popularized the carrier/destroyer version during the Clone Wars. The design would see continued usage in rebel, holdout and other fleets after the conflict. 5%
Victory-II Star Destroyer A supplemental version of the Victory that loses the missile-cruiser role for a more generalist armament. It was developed from the Victory-I late in the Clone Wars and was not as popular as it or the Venator, but became more common under the Galactic Empire. It is significantly faster due to an overhauled engine system and outfitted with heavy energy weapons. 5%
Lucrehulk Core Destroyer Radical core ship modification that turns it into an independent warship. Does away with any semblance of connection to a ring by equipping a proper engine bank instead of the minimal power gravtics of the base design. Deceptively fast and rather durable, but not much of a threat to larger vessels due to limited weaponry. 5%
Captor Heavy Munitions Carrier A heavy munitions cruiser typically used as a fighter carrier or armed convoy vessel. It was originally designed for supporting the antipiracy operations of the Trade Federation Defense Force several centuries ago alongside the Auxilia-class. Able to engage smaller cruisers while supporting fleets with its large complement of fighters. 5%
Acclamator-I (Assault Loadout) An Acclamator counterpart design with an obscured official history. Significant hull deviations allow it to carry a respectable warhead battery while still maintaining a large fighter wing, though less than a pure transport/carrier model. More durable than other Acclamator models. 2.5%
Broadside Cruiser A missile cruiser dating from the early days of the Galactic Empire that is notable for sharing the same keel as the Gladiator-class. The design sacrifices the majority of its systems for an increased munitions payload and is best used at the rear of a fleet to provide support fire. 2.5%
MC30c Frigate A high-speed attack frigate able to defend itself from fighters while engaging larger vessels. The skeletal superstructure and light armor make it speedy but fragile, and it is best suited to hit-and-run attacks or flanking maneuvers. 2.5%
Vengeance Frigate The Vengeance-class frigate was an experimental design of the Galactic Empire, with little to no production reported prior to the Battle of Yavin. Its schematics were obtained from the Death Star's ruins and allowed the Vengeance to take on a new life as a favorite of the Zann Consortium, who would mass produce it for their own use and for sale on the black market. The original framework for the Vengeance Frigate had it armed with a pair of mass driver and turbolaser cannons along with conventional shielding, while esoteric variants would strip the shielding for an internal cloaking system. 2%
Neutron Star Bulk Cruiser A cruiser developed during the Clone Wars to serve as a second-line and garrison vessel and never pressed into frontline service during the conflict. The Empire did not like the design and relegated it to Outer Rim duties or sold them off to assorted groups, leading to the Rebel Alliance acquiring them. It is often modified into a starfighter carrier by stripping out cargo space but is otherwise a discount Rendili cruiser in stock form. 2%
Strike Cruiser A fragile but effective modular cruiser that was developed by the Empire as an admission to reduced ability to defend space superiority from Rebel Alliance attacks. This model is a medium cruiser, but the framework has spawned many variants. it is best used as fire support in conjunction with anti-fighter support and more durable vessels to absorb fire. 3%
Munificent Star Frigate Designed by the Intergalactic Banking Clan as a mobile communications, transport, and debt-enforcement vessel. Its modular and skeletal design causes it to be fragile but easy to produce, traits which led to it becoming the backbone of the CIS fleet in the Clone Wars, and assorted usage afterwards. Has a significant amount of firepower but does not hold up when taking damage. 4%
Assault Frigate-I Originally intended as a way for the Rebel Alliance to make better use of crew-expensive Rendili Cruisers, the Assault Frigate began as a stripped-down hull with additional automation, leading to a fast and surprisingly efficient vessel. Several sidegrades and additional developments have led to the current generation of New Republic vessels, which are purpose-built, fast, well-armed, and fitted with enough shielding to make up for the loss of hull density. 2%
Carrack Cruiser The Carrack is an older design in service before the Clone Wars but prevails throughout the decades as a fast, durable, and well-equipped frigate especially suitable for use as a fleet escort. The Carrack-class is highly versatile, and is often deployed in a forward picket line formation. 5%
Vigil Corvette A Kuat Drive Yards design in the Star Destroyer line, the Vigil shared many design elements with other Star Destroyers, although its lower command bridge gave it a smaller, harder-to-hit profile. Because of its size, it mostly served as a patrol vessel. 2%
Pelta Support Ship A general fleet support version of a modular frigate class used for tending and interdiction mine deployment - the most reliable form of hyperspace prevention in the era. It has token anti-fighter armament similar to a corvette. 5%
Arquitens Light Cruiser A KDY alternative to the Carrack-class designed in the Clone Wars to serve both as an escort for Star Destroyers and a centerpiece for corvette groups. The design would continue to see Imperial usage, fighting the Rebel Alliance and other forces in the early days of the Empire. It is decently armed for its size and an excellent support gunship when grouped into wolfpacks. 5%
Lancer Frigate A slow but dangerous anti-fighter escort craft. While technically introduced a mere month after the Clone Wars, the class would not see a rise in popularity until after the first Death Star was destroyed. Ilon Drez proposed using the vessel to screen vulnerable stations and larger vessels, leading to the ship being significantly more common well into the Vong War. 10%
CR90 Corvette The CR90 Corvette, commonly referred to as the Corellian corvette or the blockade runner, also known as an Alderaan cruiser, was a small, multi-purpose starship manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. It became popular with many governments and private organizations because of its versatile, modular design, allowing different weapon emplacements to be switched out with ease. 10%
Crusader Corvette A Mandalorian gunship design that incorporates as many weapon systems as the frame can take. It was originally offered to the Galactic Empire as a corvette, but the design was rejected for general naval service and, after a brief mothball period, was sold to smaller governing bodies. It is very effective at anti-fighter duties. 10%

Light Frigate Shipyard Production[]

Light Frigate Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Citadel Cruiser An aged civilian transport from the days of the Old Republic, the ILH-KK Citadel is still used by many groups due to its sturdy construction and reliable operations. Many have been converted to light warships by the Corporate Sector Authority, the Rebel Alliance, and various pirate and smuggler organizations.
Gozanti Cruiser An extremely durable but slow armed transport produced by CEC before the Clone Wars. It was commonly converted into a gunship or convoy escort by groups ranging from the CIS to pirates. The design's popularity fell during the reign of the Empire but resurged afterwards as the galaxy fell into chaos. It is suited to anti-fighter and anti-corvette work but does poorly against larger ships except when massed.
Etti Lighter Modified cargo hauler used by the CSA as an anti-fighter, anti-smuggler and patrol craft. Somewhat slow for an escort vessel, but very well armed for the size.
Marauder Cruiser Originally designed by Sienar as a patrol and escort gunship for the Judicial Forces, the design was declined for purchase by the Republic government proper. Sienar instead ended up selling the hulls to other groups, including the Corporate Sector Authority and various independent groups, where the ships often ended up in pirate hands. It is well suited for supporting other vessels against capital ships.
CC-7700 A small, lightly armed interdictor designed by Corellian Engineering Corporation. It directly succeeded the limited-production CC-2200 Interdictor Cruiser used prior and has remained in service from the Rebel Alliance to the New Republic.
Galleon Frigate Pre-Clone Wars cargo frigate produced by Kuat Drive Yards for Corporate and Republic use. While the civilian version is usually unarmed, military models mount a small amount of heavy guns to fend off raiders. Served as the inspiration for the later Star Galleon frigate, and functions as a back-line support ship in fleet actions.
Nebulon-B Frigate A Kuat-designed escort frigate originally intended to safeguard Imperial convoys against raids by early rebel groups. The design would become more popular within the Alliance Fleet due to its versatility and ease of acquisition. It is decently armed but structurally fragile due to the exposed spar.

Heavy Frigate Shipyard Production[]

Heavy Frigate Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Gladiator-I Star Destroyer A small cruiser in the Star Destroyer family that was originally designed to escort the Victory-class. The design would not see general use and production until after the Clone Wars where it would be relegated to system patrols and enforcement. It has an unspecialized design and is able to defend itself from most threats when in sufficient numbers.
Dreadnaught Heavy Carrier A Dreadnaught variant heavily refitted for anti piracy duty with respectable hangars while still maintaining armament near the stock levels.
Recusant Light Destroyer A fragile light destroyer originally built to act as a raiding vessel by the Commerce Guild and later sold off into other groups. While not the most durable ships, they are capable of outputting significant damage from a long range and carry a significant antifighter array to protect from strikecraft attempting reprisal.
Modular Taskforce Support Cruiser A modern Imperial support vessel suited to light combat duty. This MTC variant commands a sizable group of starfighters while being suited to fleet tender duties. Unlocks in 11 ABY
Liberator Cruiser A well-armed carrier produced to assist the Sullustan Home Guard in anti-pirate operation. Constructed using high-quality components, it is decently powerful for the size, and was considered one of the most advanced warships in the galaxy during the Galactic Civil War. Provides useful fire against enemy capitals but lacks anti-fighter weaponry.
Modular Taskforce Combat Cruiser A highly versatile ship designed by the House of Tagge, this MTC has a Combat Operations Module attached. The addition of extra turbolasers and some proton torpedo launchers make this vessel a capable combatant. The Combat module also adds some desperately needed durability if this support vessel is to be expected to stand in the line of battle. Unlocks in 11 ABY
Victory-I Star Destroyer A venerable heavy cruiser, the Republic-designed Star Destroyer is meant to complement the Venator-class by focusing on ship-to-ship combat and system defense. It has a powerful battery of missiles for firepower but is hindered by an archaic drive system. It is best used to deal damage to enemy ships with its missile payload and large gun array.
Bulwark-I Battlecruiser The first and smallest in the lineage, the Bulwark was introduced in the Clone Wars as a CIS battleship with roots in the Techno Union and associated companies. The design is lined with heavy weapons and it serves as a very capable mid-sized warship
Dauntless Heavy Cruiser A sleek and battle-ready SoroSuub cruiser design built on a luxury liner hull that dates to the high point of the Galactic Civil War. Being better armed than contemporary Mon Calamari designs has lead to a long service life, with the class remaining in use until the Vong War. An overall solid cruiser with no notable weaknesses.

Capital Shipyard Production[]

Capital Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description:
Invincible Dreadnaught The Invincible is an ancient cruiser design based on the Alsakan Atgeir-class in use for millennia before the Galactic Civil War. Despite its size, it was typically reserved for fighting smugglers and pirates, as well as deploying ground forces, but its simple systems and sheer size often led to it being used as a training and auxiliary vessel.

Dreadnought Shipyard Production[]

Dreadnought Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Bulwark-III Battlecruiser The Bulwark-III is the result of TransGalMeg building on the foundations of the earlier Mk. I and II from the Clone Wars with another considerable jump in size. The vessel initially found service with the Rebel Alliance and affiliated planetary forces and continued to serve in various roles in the galaxy through to at least the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Lucrehulk Battle Carrier Wartime configuration Lucrehulk that retains the same large carrying capacity of fighters as the converted freighters. Hull modifications increase the durability and allow sufficient weaponry to defend itself and potentially engage multiple enemy vessels. A constant presence of fighter superiority both for its antifighter capabilities and complement.
Requires Ulric Tagge

Barracks Production[]

Barracks
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description:
B1 Battle Droid Platoon Light infantry replacement droid notable for being a cheap and mediocre combatant with horrendous casualty rates offset by scavenging modular parts. Originally used by the Trade Federation, these droids served as the bulk troops of the CIS and its sponsors before their remnants were sold off to the CSA after the war.
Security Police Platoon Security Police of the Corporate Sector Authority, commonly referred to as 'Espos'. Clad in brown uniforms with KZZ Riot armor, Espos are tasked with corporate peacekeeping, and are infamous for their cruelty in protecting the Authority and its property. Primarily equipped with blaster rifles and riot guns for anti-insurgent tactics, in combat Espos also favor the modifiable FC-1 Flechette Launcher for anti-personnel duty, which suits their love of excessive force. The average Espo while well-trained is not highly motivated, working simply for the decent wage the job gives them.
Destroyer Droid Company A shielded battle droid used by the Trade Federation and Confederacy of Independent Systems before being distributed amongst other groups. Feared even by Jedi, Droidekas are highly resilient, fast and armed with twin blaster cannons.
64-Y Swift 3 Repulsor Sled Company An incredibly fast repulsorcraft designed to run down swoop bike gangs. The Swift 3 was most famously used by the Dark Riders, a Storm Commando unit under Lieutenant Irlyn Resk.

Light Vehicle Factory Production[]

Light Vehicle Factory
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description:
X10 Groundcruiser Company A common sight in CSA territory as part of their desire to maintain a high profile crime prevention policy. The X10 Groundcruiser is a versatile repulsorcraft suited for patrols in dense urban areas. It has heavy armor, a powerful blaster cannon, and is very maneuverable.
Class I Defense Droid Company A large scale battle droid developed for the Empire, but ultimately rejected and sold to the Corporate Sector. Class I droids were extensively used in conflicts such as the war against the Trianii.
Espo Walker 101 Company A useful patrol and defensive vehicle across a variety of terrain, the Espo Walker gives a single officer the firepower of an entire squad. Though expensive and maintenance-heavy, the 101 model Walker is an increasingly common sight in CSA territory.
GX12 Hovervan Company When Espo duties turn from police work to true warfare, the GX12 hovervan is the first choice of supporting vehicle. It can move a small group of troops behind thick armor and support them with grenades and heavy lasers.
Hailfire Droid Tank Company A distinctive, hoop-wheeled droid originally used by the Banking Clan Collections and Security Division that sports two modular weapon racks typically fitted with clusters of missiles, along with an underslung laser cannon for self-defense. While very dangerous, this fragile artillery piece should either be used for hit-and-run or to support more durable units.
SX20 Airskimmer Company A small, two-man airspeeder, the SX20 is a patrol skimmer primarily used for traffic control and light combat duty. The SX20 performs admirably in reconnaissance of hostile positions, making it the perfect spy vehicle for Espos. Spun off into a number of military and police variants, this configuration packs a repeating blaster to better clear infantry.

Heavy Vehicle Factory Production[]

Heavy Vehicle Factory
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description:
Corporate Alliance Artillery Designed by the Corporate Alliance using the Persuader snail tank as a basis. Due to its rear line role, it was heavily stripped down of unnecessary armor to make it cheap, light, and responsive to conditions on the field. Its initial usage was against worlds on the Outer Rim who opposed the CA's development plans or their business practices but later they would see heavy usage by the CIS during the Clone Wars as a mobile artillery piece.
