Thrawn's Revenge Wiki

The Galactic Empire, also known as the Imperial Remnant or simply the Empire, is one of the main factions in Thrawn's Revenge. After their disastrous defeat at Endor, the Galactic Empire was thrown into disarray. Many Admirals and Moffs split away, forming their own Warlord Kingdoms. In the wake of these defections and defeats at the hand of the Rebellion and New Republic, a variety of rulers laid claim to the Imperial Throne.

Government Mechanics[]

Imperial Regime[]

In the wake of Palpatine's death at the Battle of Endor, many warlords broke off from the Empire, leaving the question of who rules those who remained loyal to the Galactic Empire in the air. In Thrawn's Revenge, this is represented by the Regime System, offering players a variety of choices to determine who will rule the Empire. Currently, there are 4 Regimes available to the Empire, signified by their different rulers: Sate Pestage, Ysanne Isard, the Central Committee of Grand Moffs, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Each regime has a different cadre of heroes and features some changes to the Empire's roster.

Sate Pestage[]

  • Sate Pestage: "The Rebels have been making inroads towards our territories, and some of our own commanders have decided to abandon their duties, though they claim otherwise. I leave it to you to reunite my Empire. The Warlord filth are no different than the Rebels. Ensure the Empire is victorious on all fronts."

Beginning in 4 ABY. the Empire begins ruled by Sate Pestage, one of Palpatine's advisors on Coruscant. Pestage will stay in command of the Empire until he dies, the player chooses to usurp him, or until Coruscant is captured by another faction. The main benefit to Pestage's regime compared to later Imperial Regimes is Pestage's 25% Administrator bonus, allowing him to heavily discount most production. Using this to set up Tax Agencies, the Kuat Drive Yards corporation, Defensive Structures, and build early fleets and armies is a useful early-game Imperial strategy.

From Pestage's Regime, the Imperial Player can choose to proceed regimes in one of two directions: they can either research Project Ambition from the political options menu, which will have Sate Pestage removed from power and replaced by Ysanne Isard; or they can back the Central Committee of Grand Moffs, where Bertroff Hissa will take command of the Empire.

Regime Progression Options[]

Project Ambition Isard: "I am Ysanne Isard, the Director of Imperial Intelligence. The death of our beloved Emperor has left our once-proud realm in hands of lesser men with no vision. Sate Pestage is a coward who will sell out what remains of the Empire to save his skin. We need a strong leader, one who can best the Rebels and force these ambitious warlords to unite under one banner again. You can join me, or be sure to fall with him."
Form Central Committee of Grand Moffs Hissa: "I am Grand Moff Hissa, head of the Central Committee of Grand Moffs. The destruction of our latest Death Star was but a temporary setback. The Rebels have yet to see the full fury of our power and might. The Prophets of the Dark Side foretell of a new leader of the Empire; the Supreme Slavelord of Kessel, Trioculus. If you swear your fealty to our new Emperor, we shall rule the galaxy and crush the Rebel Alliance!"

Sate Pestage
  • Indecisive
  • Administrator (-25%, All)
  • N/A
One of the earliest supports of Palpatine and Grand Vizier of the Empire, Sate Pestage's power in the New Order allowed him to give or deny access to the Emperor at will on top of managing his personal archives. Pestage also increasingly took part in the ruling of the Empire as Palpatine withdrew from the concerns of the state for arcane matters. With the Emperor's death, Pestage took the role of ruler of the Empire for a time. He would attempt to raise Imperial citizens morale through acts such as establishing the Church of the Dark Side as a state religion. Conflicts with both Isard and the Imperial Advisors would see Pestage deposed however, with mixed reports of him being assassinated on his homeworld of Ciutric, to simply retiring to the sanctuary world of Byss. With Vader's death Broadside with the rest of Shadow Squadron returned to Imperial Center, ever eager to serve the Empire.

Ysanne Isard[]

  • Ysanne Isard: "This is Director Isard. All Imperial forces are now under my control. My wish is the death of the Rebellion. Now with the Empire in my hands, there will be no one to stop me from making that wish come true."

Ysanne Isard is the ruler of the Empire in 6 ABY (Era 2) starts. She can also be made ruler of the Empire when beginning in Pestage's regime by losing Coruscant, having Pestage die, or by researching Project Ambition from the Political Options menu. When progressing from Pestage's Regime to Isard's Regime, Ysanne Isard will come under your command along with a new roster of heroes, and Thyferra will join the Galactic Empire. If the Empire loses Coruscant or Sate Pestage dies before completing Project Ambition, Isard will take command of the Empire and Zero Command will take control of Kalist VI and Abregado-Rae if the Galactic Empire controls them. When switching to Isard's Regime, the following heroes from Pestage's Regime will leave the Empire: Uther Kermen, Ledre Okins, Sate Pestage, Paltr Carvin, and Delak Krennel. Swapping to Isard also unlocks the Strike Cruiser while locking the KDY Strike Cruiser.

The most powerful tool of Isard's Regime is her Flagship Upgrade, the Lusankya, netting the Galactic Empire a second Executor-class Star Dreadnought in addition to the generic Executor they can build. The Imperial player can proceed from Isard's Regime into Grand Admiral Thrawn's regime by researching the option from the Political Options menu, which will replace the current regime with Thrawn and his unique set of heroes and some units.

  • Bertroff Hissa: "To my fellow Grand Moffs, Grand Admirals, and the others, I bid you all dark greetings! We have gathered here today to mark a new beginning. Let us all swear loyalty to the trueborn son of Palpatine - Emperor Trioculus!"

As an alternative to Isard, Imperial players can instead choose to back the Central Committee of Grand Moffs from Pestage's Regime instead of Isard. Doing so will place Bertroff Hissa in command of the Empire with a new roster of heroes, some new units, and Kessel will join the Galactic Empire. Notably, this option will lock the AT-PT, Beta ETR-3, and KDY Strike from the Imperial roster, while unlocking the PX-10, Treaded Neutron Torch, YE-4 Gunship, and Strike Cruiser. Legitimacy[]

After the Battle of Endor, the Empire broke up into a great many warlord states, with the largest among them being the Galactic Empire itself, the Pentastar Alignment ruled by Grand Moff Ardus Kaine, Zsinj's Empire ruled by Warlord Zsinj, the Greater Maldrood ruled by the Teradoc Brothers, and the Eriadu Authority ruled by Sander Delvardus. Each of these factions battled one another to become to legitimate heir to the Empire, resulting in the Imperial Civil War. This is represented in Thrawn's Revenge by the Legitimacy system, where each of the playable Imperial Factions are competing against one another to bring smaller warlord groups into the fold, absorb one another, and ultimately becoming the most legitimate Imperial Faction and bring about the Dark Empire. Through Legitimacy, the Galactic Empire can add new heroes and some new units to its roster, integrate the other playable Warlord factions after beating them back, and can ultimately bring about the Dark Empire with Palpatine's return and a new series of Imperial Regimes.

In Era 1, 2, and 3 starts, the Galactic Empire starts most galactic conquests being the most legitimate Imperial faction. With every planet conquered, the Empire can grow its legitimacy score, increasing the chances of a random Warlord group joining the Empire. In most Progressive Galactic Conquests, if the Empire can destroy an enemy Imperial Warlord faction's Leaders, Warlords, and Super Star Destroyers, and reduce them to 3 planets, then they will be able to integrate that faction, including the remaining planets under its control, their heroes, and whatever units they have left. If the Galactic Empire absorbs two Imperial Warlord factions and reaches 60% Legitimacy, then they will be approached by Palpatine to create the Dark Empire.

Bounty Hunters[]

The Galactic Empire can hire a bounty hunter from the available pool of bounty hunters, as can every other Imperial faction along with the Hutt Cartels and the Corporate Sector. This allows them to add an additional hero to their roster, though they can only have one bounty hunter hired at a time. The bounty hunter selected is chosen at random from those available on the list, not counting bounty hunters hired by other factions or ones that are already dead.

Navy[]

The Galactic Empire possesses a balanced strength naval roster, not focusing too heavily in one direction and having good coverage with a variety of naval strategies, especially among its fellow Imperial factions. The Empire uses the typical shipyard production system in space, being able to produce Light Frigate Shipyards, Heavy Frigate Shipyards, Capital Shipyards, and Dreadnought Shipyards.

The Imperial Star Destroyers make up the centerpiece of most Imperial fleets, designed as a battleship, doing well against other warships. Dreadnaughts, Vindicators, and Victory Star Destroyers make great fire support and escorts in a standard Imperial fleet, and if Capital Shipyards are unavailable, Procursator Star Destroyers make ample replacements for an ISD if other craft are relied upon for Starfighter and Bomber support. To protect against enemy Fighters and Bombers, the Lancer Frigate is one of the best weapons in the early Empire's arsenal for dealing with the New Republic's reliance on starfighter superiority, with low-cost IPV-1 Patrol Craft making a decent choice to fill in the gaps in a fleet.

On the larger side of things, the Empire can reliably call upon Allegiance Battlecruisers as essentially a Heavy Star Destroyer, and in most eras the Empire can build the mighty Executor Star Dreadnought to use as a sword against most all enemy fleets.

Light Frigate Shipyard Production[]

Light Frigate Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Beta ETR-3 Escort Transport A refinement of the Gamma ATR-6 which increased the weapon load and protection but sacrificing even more speed, the Beta ETR-3 is another lumbering gunship with an extensive array of weapons from turbolasers, ion cannons, lasers, and proton torpedo launchers. Of primary note is the addition of laser cannons, which provide token anti-fighter capability that the Gamma completely lacks. Locks in Central Committee's Regime
Ye-4 Gunship The YE-4 Gunship was originally made by Sienar Fleet Systems for the purpose of protecting the Kessel system and the surrounding deep space and its effectiveness in this role would see it rapidly be used to defend other areas. Heavily armed with rotating and fixed guns which covered every single angle of approach, the gunship is a deadly opponent to all enemy small craft and fighters. Unlocks in Central Committee's Regimes
IPV-1 System Patrol Craft A corvette-sized patrol boat originally designed for in-system security by planetary defense forces. The design line saw a name change as the government changed to the Galactic Empire, but the vessel remained a common sight among the galaxy. It can handle most fighter threats.
Crusader Corvette A Mandalorian gunship design that incorporates as many weapon systems as the frame can take. It was originally offered to the Galactic Empire as a corvette, but the design was rejected for general naval service and, after a brief mothball period, was sold to smaller governing bodies. It is very effective at anti-fighter duties. Unlocks in Daala & Pellaeon's Regimes
Lancer Frigate A slow but dangerous anti-fighter escort craft. While technically introduced a mere month after the Clone Wars, the class would not see a rise in popularity until after the first Death Star was destroyed. Ilon Drez proposed using the vessel to screen vulnerable stations and larger vessels, leading to the ship being significantly more common well into the Vong War.
Star Galleon Frigate Armed cargo/escort hybrid vessel developed from the older Galleon design in response to Imperial freighters being stolen or destroyed by rebel cells. Serves as an able support vessel for fleet actions with weaponry suited to fending off ships of similar size.
Imperial Patrol Frigate Originally intended for convoy escort duties, the basic Nebulon-B design received countless adaptations as Imperials and Rebels alike sought to use the cheap but versatile frigate to meet different needs. This Imperial-designed patrol variant replaces some of the base design's turbolaser and laser output with ion cannons. These ion weapons are a direct counter to the New Republic's reliance on strongly shielded ships and fighters and noticeably improves the frigate's capabilities against shielded targets. Unlocks in Daala & Pellaeon's Regimes
Boarding Shuttle An assault transport loaded with marines for the capture of enemy ships. Thrawn's Regime Only
Carrack Cruiser The Carrack is an older design in service before the Clone Wars but prevails throughout the decades as a fast, durable, and well-equipped frigate especially suitable for use as a fleet escort. The Carrack-class is highly versatile, and is often deployed in a forward picket line formation.
Strike Cruiser A fragile but effective modular cruiser that was developed by the Empire as an admission to reduced ability to defend space superiority from Rebel Alliance attacks. This model is a medium cruiser, but the framework has spawned many variants. it is best used as fire support in conjunction with anti-fighter support and more durable vessels to absorb fire. Unlocks in Isard or Central Committee's Regimes
Ton-Falk Escort Carrier Designed and named after a disastrous battle, the Ton-Falk is little more than a hangar with engines and fighter defense systems intended to provide the same fighter support as an ISD in a compact package. With minimal defenses, it is best kept well escorted and away from enemy ships.
KDY Strike Cruiser Kuati produced variation on the Loronar Strike Cruiser with most famous example being Sate Pestage's personal flagship. Although technically an upgrade featuring more extensive hangars and advanced fighter launching facilities, the modularity and logistical benefits of the original Loronar version meant that remained the preferred choice. Locks in Isard or Central Committee's Regimes

Heavy Frigate Shipyard Production[]

Heavy Frigate Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Immobilizer-418 Cruiser A lightly armed interdictor based on the Vindicator hull with missile countermeasure capabilities, the Immobilizer is a useful support-craft to its attending fleet. When active, its huge gravity-well generators prevent any nearby ship from entering hyperspace.
Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser A crew-intensive but durable cruiser designed many decades before the Clone Wars. The design has spawned countless variants and has seen use by every galactic government to date in some capacity, remaining a suitable, if outdated, warship.
Acclamator-II A subclass of the Acclamator developed near the end of the Clone Wars to add extra firepower to planetary assault squadrons. This variant removes 75-80% of an Acclamator-I's cargo space and uses the space for additional generators and support systems, turning it into a deadly cruiser.
Vindicator Heavy Cruiser A medium starship designed to replace the aging Dreadnaught-class, often used as a substitute to larger Star Destroyers for smaller missions. It would later go on to serve as the hull basis for the Immobilizer 418 and Enforcer cruisers, but it is otherwise unremarkable. Well-rounded and can engage all types of targets.
Victory-I Star Destroyer A venerable heavy cruiser, the Republic-designed Star Destroyer is meant to complement the Venator-class by focusing on ship-to-ship combat and system defense. It has a powerful battery of missiles for firepower but is hindered by an archaic drive system. It is best used to deal damage to enemy ships with its missile payload and large gun array.
Victory-II Star Destroyer A supplemental version of the Victory that loses the missile-cruiser role for a more generalist armament. It was developed from the Victory-I late in the Clone Wars and was not as popular as it or the Venator, but became more common under the Galactic Empire. It is significantly faster due to an overhauled engine system and outfitted with heavy energy weapons.
Procursator Star Destroyer A destroyer that falls between the Victory and Imperial series in tonnage. It was intended as a no-frills wartime destroyer and shares traits with the larger Tector and Allegiance classes such as a lack of fighter bay. Focuses more on a balanced weapon loadout rather than purely anti-ship and can be serve as a durable screening vessel.

Capital Shipyard Production[]

Capital Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Interdictor Star Destroyer A heavier interdictor design intended to survive in battle conditions that an Immobilizer 418 cannot. Initial ships were merely modified ISD's with hamstrung combat abilities. The design has since been refined with unique hull components, but it is not as armed as a proper combat vessel in its size range.
Imperial-I Star Destroyer Iconic large and dangerous multirole capital vessel. It is durable, well-armed with a variety of weapons, speedy for its size, and capable of carrying a respectable amount of fighters. Receives a good benefit from supporting carriers and escorts and functions well in almost any fleet composition.
Tector Star Destroyer The battle-oriented counterpart of the Imperator-class that shares the same base hull. It was developed alongside the ISD-I during the Clone Wars but was never as popular among the Imperial Navy. Additional armor plating and structural reinforcement cover up the reactor dome and hangar bay which lends increased durability at the cost of a fighter escort. It is well suited to battling other large vessels but requires protection from bombers.
Imperial-II Star Destroyer The second iteration of the Imperial-class and less multirole than its predecessor. Numerous design flaws are fixed and significant amounts of firepower are added to the design, at the cost of the sheer versatility the Imperial-I had.
Allegiance Battlecruiser A small star battlecruiser design resembling a larger version of the Imperial and Tector classes. The design lacks a dedicated fighter hangar and devotes most of its volume to weapons and support systems that make it an extremely dangerous opponent in ship-to-ship engagements. While it is able to outfight most capital ships, it requires an escort to not be torn apart by bombers.

Dreadnought Shipyard Production[]

Dreadnought Shipyard Production
Ship Icon: Ship Name: Description: Special Notes:
Impellor Carrier A massive fleet carrier developed as an advancement of the Secutor and carrier variant of the Praetor, the Impellor dedicates much of its immense volume to fighter capacity. Its onboard weaponry is surprisingly weak for a ship of its size as a result, but its vast reserve of fighters and bombers more than make up for it. Enabled by FractalSponge Units in Advanced Options Menu
Compellor Battlecruiser One of Fractalsponge's fan designs, the Comepllor is a companion ship to the Impellor-class that leans more into the battlecruiser role. It trades starfighter space for denser hull and shielding along with greater turbolaser arrays. Enabled by FractalSponge Units in Advanced Options Menu
Praetor-II Battlecruiser The larger successor of the Praetor-I originally built for the Empire, the Praetor-II was yet less versatile than the standard Imperial Star Destroyer. It was largely neglected as a result, and although not as terrifying as the newer star dreadnoughts, the Praetor-II remained popular with Imperial commanders undertaking dangerous assignments at the fringes of the galaxy.
Executor Star Dreadnought A command ship of extraordinary magnitude equivalent to an entire fleet of conventional ships. It is the most common Star Dreadnought in Imperial service and extremely well armed even among its peers. Its only notable vulnerability is to massed starfighter attack, a weakness easily remedied by an escorting task force. Build Limit: 1

Lifetime Limit: 3 Locks in Thrawn's Regime

Starfighters & Bombers[]

Galactic Empire Fighters & Bombers
Fighter Icon: Fighter Name: Description: Hangar Complements:
TIE Fighter A speedy and maneuverable light fighter that became one of the most recognizable Imperial symbols after being chosen to standardize fighter models shortly after the Empire's founding. It is cheap and lacks shielding and adequate armor compared to other designs. It is best used en-masse to engage enemy fighters and bombers.
  • Star Galleon
  • Carrack
  • Strike Cruiser
  • Ton Falk
  • Immobilizer 418
  • Acclamator-II
  • Interdictor SD
  • Imperial-I SD

TIE Interceptor An extremely fast and maneuverable interceptor. Originally intended to replace the TIE/LN but relegated to supplementing it instead due to logistical problems. Armed with laser cannons, it is an extremely deadly threat to Rebel starfighters in a dogfight.
  • Vindicator
  • Imperial-I SD
  • Imperial-II SD
  • Praetor-II
  • Executor
I-7 Howlrunner Designed in an attempt to save face after the X-wing debacle, the Howlrunner is an expensive fighter design that grants superior individual performance to a standard TIE/IN. The design was not especially popular in the Galactic Civil War but has seen greater usage against the New Republic as Imperial resources have become more important. It is best used to tie up and eliminate enemy fighters.
  • Dreadnaught
  • Victory-I SD
  • Victory-II SD
TIE Defender The brainchild of Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin along with the TIE Avenger, the TIE Defender was an evolution of the TIE series intended to counter the Rebel Alliance's starfighter doctrine. It was built to have innate deflector shielding, a hyperdrive engine, excellent speed, and an armament featuring laser and ion cannons, plus a torpedo launcher. As a result the Defender is one of the deadliest fighters in the Empire's arsenal, and only the extreme cost of the craft prevented it from being deployed in mass quantities.
  • Praetor-II
  • Executor
Skipray Blastboat GAT-12h A heavy gunboat sometimes counted as a capital ship in small navies, the Imperial GAT-12h and its successors are a more combat-oriented improvement over the Republic GAT-12g model which lacked the concussion missiles and had a tractor beam for utility. It is best used to attack enemy capital ships but can be turned onto fighters in a pinch due to its turreted lasers.
  • Imperial-I SD
  • Imperial-II SD
TIE Sentinel A novel TIE variant based around a pair of heavy turrets. Though somewhat clumsy, the Sentinel's shield and sturdy hull allow it to stay intact while the turrets engage nimbler foes. The Sentinel is famous beyond its deployment due to being the subject of the painting Emperor's Eyes.
  • KDY Strike Cruiser
A9 Vigilance The newest in a series of KDY interceptors, the A9 is used in small numbers by the Imperial Remnant and other organizations that acquired production lines. While fragile it is deceptively powerful, speedy, and in the right hands, is superior to many other fighters.
  • Imperial Patrol Frigate
TIE Avenger An improvement upon the TIE Advanced used by Darth Vader, the TIE Avenger was designed to replace the Interceptor though the cost prevented widespread use.
  • Executor
TIE Bomber A bomber armed with proton torpedoes. It replaces the unpopular TIE/gt model and is a significant improvement over that design. It is best used to attack the larger enemy ships and space stations along with bombing runs against ground targets.
  • Ton Falk
  • KDY Strike Cruiser
  • Imperial-I SD
  • Imperial-II SD
XG-1 Star Wing Cygnus Spacework's Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing, colloquially known as the assault gunboat, is a versatile multi-role craft possessing lasers, ion cannons, and ordnance as well as excellent shielding and hyperspace capabilities. The Starwing saw extensive use in independent, small scale operations by the Imperial Starfighter Corps against small Rebel groups.

Army[]

Much like their naval forces, the Imperial ground roster is a balanced collection of units that do not lean heavily towards one play style over another, favoring a combined arms approach to tactical battles.

Buildable Ground Roster[]

Barracks Production[]

Barracks
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description: Special Notes:
Army Trooper Platoon The most common of the Empire's ground fighting forces, Imperial Army troopers are drawn from conscripted and enlisted individuals from across the galaxy. As the Army benefited from substantially increased investment following the transition to the Empire, contemporary Imperial Army troopers are extensively trained and armed with gear for both planetary assaults and occupation. While less iconic than stormtroopers and not as zealous in their morale, Army troopers are plentiful, dedicated fighters who should by no means be underestimated.
Stormtrooper Platoon The elite shocktroopers of the Empire, the Stormtrooper Corps serves as an iconic symbol of the Emperor's army. Stormtroopers support the Imperial Army and Navy in their offensive engagements on ground or space, yet remain separate from both organizations. They are outfitted with some of the most high-end standard weaponry the Empire has to offer, and additionally have specialized gear for non-standard environments. Disciplined to the extreme, they are ready to crush any form of resistance to enforce the Empire's doctrine of fear.
74-Z Speeder Scout Company A trooper mounted on a speeder for recon and light combat. The design predates several other speeder models but enjoys a longer service history due to cost, speed, and reliability, despite its reputation as a death-trap. It is well suited to spotting for artillery, scouting and raiding structures, or harassing infantry.

Light Vehicle Factory Production[]

Light Vehicle Factory
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description: Special Notes:
AT-PT Walker Company An extremely small walker meant to provide a single soldier the presence of a squad. It is well suited to supporting other vehicles as an escort or supporting infantry as a heavy unit. It is best used against targets not armed with dedicated anti-armor weaponry. Locks in Central Committee's Regime, Unlocks in Thrawn's Regime.
PX-10 Compact Assault Vehicle Company The PX-10 is a one-man tracked assault vehicle suited to anti-infantry duties on rugged worlds where larger vehicles such as the AT-ST and AT-AT are deemed unnecessary. Unlocks in Central Committee's Regime, Locks in Thrawn's Regime.
AT-ST Walker Company An armored recon vehicle capable of being equipped with a variety of weapons, though typically various caliber blaster cannons and grenade launcher. It was designed for use by the Republic, but it saw more popularity under the Imperial regime for suppression duties where it served as their standard light combat walker. It is best used for anti-infantry and scouting for larger vehicles. Locks in 10 ABY
AT-ST/A Walker Company Heavy counterpart to the standard AT-ST featuring additional armor and heavier weapons systems, along with the required mechanical support for both. More focused on a heavy combat role than its origin design, the design was not as common during the Galactic Civil War but saw an upswing in use with Imperial infighting post-Endor. Very adept for engaging infantry and other light vehicles. Unlocks in 10 ABY
Chariot LAV Company A repulsorlift vehicle introduced at the end of the Clone Wars during the transition into the Galactic Empire. It was designed for command staff to direct operations from and not open warfare. Local situations result in it being occasionally pressed into service for such when required.

Heavy Vehicle Factory Production[]

Heavy Vehicle Factory
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description: Special Notes:
S-1 FireHawke Repulsortank Company The S-1 FireHawke is a fast repulsorlift heavy tank built for anti-vehicle and anti-infantry work, combining the armament of an AT-AT with the mobility of a repulsorcraft, in a well armored package.
AT-AA Walker Company A four-legged support walker that replaces various Rothana-engineered vehicles in Republic service. It is meant to protect armor columns from air threats with its flak pod and scramble incoming munitions with a jammer suite. It relies on its bulk and other vehicles to deal with ground-based threats.
Treaded Neutron Torch Company Originally a mining vehicle designed for the spice mines of Kessel during the era of the Republic, the Treaded Neutron Torch was adapted into military usage during the collapse of the Galactic Empire as makeshift assault tanks. A hull designed to survive perilous mine shafts offers a surprising amount of protection in combat and torches capable of melting easily through rock are also capable of burning their way through lots of other material that might see use on a battlefield. Unlocks in Central Committee's Regime, Locks in Thrawn's Regime.
Deathhawk Combat Airspeeder Wing Combat airspeeder model reminiscent of common Incom designs built as ground support for the Imperial Army. Often used for enforcement and planetary occupation. Designed for pure combat, the Deathhawk is significantly larger to support more armor and heavier weaponry when compared to commonly converted utility speeder designs.
Imperial Dropship Transport A heavily armed infantry transport, the IDT is the quickly-introduced successor to the Republic's LAAT design and a more successful counterpart to the MAAT. It is capable of transporting several soldiers across the battlefield and is popular among the stormtroopers it often arrives to support.
SPMA-G Walker A modular medium artillery platform with a traditional shell launcher and limited self-defense abilities. It is a modernized descendant design of the older and larger SPHA series and meant for more general deployment instead of relying on frigate-sized transports and power sources as its predecessor did. It is best used to shell enemy positions and units at extreme range while being protected from counterattack.

Advanced Vehicle Factory Production[]

Advanced Vehicle Factory
Unit Icon: Unit Name: Description: Special Notes:
PX-4 Mobile Command Base Company A heavily armored tracked command vehicle that is intended to provide a more resilient command facility than a Chariot LAV and often converted into a mobile operations base by Imperial officials in hazardous territories. It is durable but lacking in firepower compared to other vehicles its size.
AT-AT Walker Large assault transport with forward weaponry. The current model is an Imperial derivative of an older Republic design and a notable improvement over its predecessor. It is best used in head-on assaults of enemy forces while lighter vehicles screen on its flanks. Able to deploy infantry. Locks in 10 ABY
Turbolaser Refit AT-AT Walker Improved AT-AT model armed with advanced turbolaser weaponry made possible by the X-80 power cell. This variant was first deployed at the attack on New Alderaan, where it acquitted itself well against a variety of targets. Able to deploy infantry. Unlocks in 10 ABY
A5 Juggernaut A heavy assault vehicle introduced during the Clone Wars as a way for planetary defense forces to assist fighting the CIS. The design was considered more popular than the Republic-model AT-AT and AT-HE at the time. It is well suited to engaging medium vehicles and crushing groups of infantry.
